Muslim Persecution of Christians

The mainstream media does not impartially report religious persecution.
Nigeria
In Nigeria alone there have been 32,000 Christians killed by the country’s jihadists over the past decade [1B][2].
Hostility toward Christianity is well-established in other Muslim countries, as well [1C]. These include Kenya, Somalia, and Mozambique.
Uganda
In Uganda (a religiously diverse country with Christianity widely practiced), it is not uncommon for Muslims to attack or kill family members for converting to Christianity [1D][3].
Egypt
In Egypt, numerous churches have been bombed by Muslims, over the years [1E]. The number of Christian women and girls kidnapped, then forced to convert to Islam and marry their abductors is record high [1F].
Pakistan
In Pakistan, discrimination against Christians is out in the open [1G][4]. Police and the courts routinely side with Muslim rapists and kidnappers over victims.
Palestinian Authority (West Bank/Gaza)
In those areas of Israel controlled by the Palestinian Authority, shocking instances of Muslim violence against Christians go largely unreported by the mainstream media [1H].
These have included armed attacks by Fatah-affiliated rioters, the desecration of churches, and the closing of Christian schools by Hamas government order [1I].
Meanwhile, Israel has been unjustly blamed for the decline in the Christian population of the Holy Land [1J].

I pray daily for the protection and deliverance of persecuted Christians globally and in specific countries. I also pray for their bold effectiveness in the Gospel, and that Christ would reveal himself to members of these violent groups like he did to Saul on the road to Damascus and say to them, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” I pray daily for the genuine conversion of all muslims for God’s glory.
So should we all, Rick. So should we all.
And it is only going to get worse. One must be aligned with the Holy Spirit and Jesus’ instruction to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors. It is one thing to read this in a theological mindset; quite another to face it in one’s day to day life!

Christ explained it. “‘For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed…Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them’” (Matt. 13: 15).
