Thank you for thinking of me, Mary. Easter is such a joyous celebration. And I was fortunate enough to spend the day w/ family. I hope you did, too. ❤

I see you have a link to abuse.

Have you ever done any research into being a care giver for a parent.

I know fifteen care givers ( including myself ) that are taking care of either a parent or both of them. The story is always the same. one good son or daughter ( and yes us men are care givers, many womens libbers cry that men do nothing. Out of the 15 there are ten us of that are men ) does all the work and gets abuse for their pay. The other siblings and grand children do nothing but get everything. When we try to talk it out with someone they look at us like we are freaks so we suffer in silence.

My sister, her husband, and I took care of our mother jointly during her final illness. Caregiving can be a grueling task, both physically and emotionally. You are to be commended. I am certain God will reward you, if not in this world then the next. “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Heb. 5: 10).

        Glad you have help.

Most care givers do all the work and get treated like slaves. The other siblings do nothing and get everything

What keeps me going is that I am working for Jesus not a dictator.

He had me give up a very good career to come back here.

It says that we must expect to suffer for Jesus and that will be our crown given by Jesus.

Boy, care givers must be getting huge crown when we meet our King at Heavens Gate
