The following article from Voice of the Martyrs Magazine has great relevance for America in view of the radicalization of youth underway in our own country. The media, educational institutions, and government all play a part.
We ignore this warning at our peril.

A decade later, North Korea, inspired by these examples, took it a step further. Kim Il Sung and his Soviet overseers established a comprehensive program of indoctrination that began at birth and established North Korea’s leader as the sole authority and focal point of worship within a religiopolitical system reminiscent of Roman emperor worship in the time of the Early Church.”

Then beginning with the child’s first words and continuing through his or her formative years, the government serves as the sole source for education about truth, faith and morality. Parents have no standing and are imprisoned for dissent…
With such a systemic apparatus of manipulation arrayed against our little brothers and sisters in Christ, their situation may seem hopeless. But we must be committed to the fight…

I sometimes think that Satan has devised a new tool to use on American children in an attempt to sway them to his ways. That new tool would be a two-headed monster made up of a lack of parental skills and involvement plus internet addiction.
Imagine not teaching children the most basic of foundational skills such as washing their hands, covering their mouth when they cough, sharing, having empathy and respect for others, etc. Add to that providing phones and IPads as a substitute parent or guardian and you have an entire generation of children who have never learned how to live as a member of society. All they know is what they see on images.
America doesn’t need a dictator to brainwash its children. We’ve already provided the means to accomplish that.
