Yet Another Exile

In the context of religious and economic tensions, Jews – who had lived in England since Roman and Anglo-Saxon times – were forcibly exiled from England during the Middle Ages [1][2]. 

The royal Edict of Expulsion was issued by Edward I on July 18, 1290 AD, Tisha B’Av, a holy day commemorating the destruction of Jerusalem and other disasters that have befallen the Jewish people.  Expulsions of the Jews from France and Spain followed.

It now appears another Jewish exodus from England and greater Europe is not far off.

Government Supported Antisemitism

“Without a dramatic change of course by Britain’s political leadership, I see no future for Jewish life in England.”

A senior Israeli official, Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli, has urged British Jews to move to Israel, citing the increasingly antisemitic atmosphere in Britain, and the governing Labor Party’s contribution to hostile sentiment against the Jews.  Chikli suggests that the anti-Israel actions by the Labor Party are driven by electoral arithmetic, i.e. the increasing number of Muslims in Britain.

Muslim Influx

Over a decade ago, an adviser to British Labor leaders admitted that the government had deliberately set out to open the United Kingdom to mass migration [4A].  Such immigration was viewed as the way the government could make the UK multicultural.

A major purpose of Brexit was to allow the UK to reclaim control over its own borders [4B].  However, the unacknowledged secret was that the establishment did not want such control [4C].  The UK immediately outsourced its border security to France.  Now, the British blame the French for problems with immigration.  The French blame the Italians or the Greeks, and they then blame the Israelis [4D].

Some 157,000 migrants have entered the UK illegally in the last 7 years [4E][17].  The influx is not  happening despite governmental efforts, but precisely because it suits the agenda for the transformation of the UK [4F].

This is not meant to suggest that these migrants (Muslim or otherwise) are all terrorists.  It does highlight the changing demographics in Britain, along with a changing set of beliefs and values.  Sharia Law, for instance, is now frequently used in Muslim communities in England to settle disputes [5].

Terrorism, the Quran, and Free Speech

“In London, Niyak Ghorbani, an Iranian dissident, has been marching alongside the Jewish community for months with his ‘Hamas is terrorist’ sign protesting pro-Hamas marches.  Ghorbani was forcibly removed by the Metropolitan Police for holding the sign and arrested many times…The organizers of the same marches from which Ghorbani is being chased by the police have ties to Hamas, have met with Hamas officials, or have publicly praised its terrorist atrocities.  One group, the Muslim Association of Britain, was founded by Muhammad Hatem Sawalha, a former Hamas leader who now lives in London [6A].”

“Christian preacher [and former Muslim] Hatun Tash was preparing to give a speech…[critical of] the Koran at Speakers Corner in London when she was dragged away by police officers, as a crowd surrounded her and shouted ‘Allau Akbar’…[6B][7]”

It should be noted the police were ultimately required to pay Hatun Tash 10,000 pounds in damages.  However, Robert Spencer, founder of the blog Jihad Watch, has been banned from England since 2013 for expressing the view that Islam is a destructive ideology and a totalitarian political doctrine, as well as a religion.

Demographic Transformation of Europe

The members of the EU have their immigration policies decided in Brussels.  The European Council has set quotas which favor migration [8A].  One third of primary school children in Austria, for example, consist of migrants who came primarily from Syria and Turkey, and are overwhelmingly Muslim [8B]. 

In view of these changing demographics, there is a cultural backlash developing across Europe.  Already in 2017 a survey by Chatham House of 10 European nations found that 55% of respondents favored a halt to immigration from predominantly Muslim states [9].  The concerns expressed centered on cultural differences, integration, and security.

Two-State Solution

The fate of the Jews is closely linked to the fate of Israel.   

Palestinian Authority Pres. Mahmoud Abbas (who is, also, head of the infamous Palestinian Liberation Organization) has set the following preconditions to any peace negotiations with Israel:

• the withdrawal of Israel to pre-1968 borders;
• the release of Palestinian prisoners, many of whom are convicted terrorists;
• an immediate halt to Israeli settlements in Judea, Samaria, and East Jerusalem;
• the division of Jerusalem, with the establishment of East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capitol; and
• the right of return by all descendants of Palestinians, potentially outnumbering the Jews in Israel [10][11].

At the same time, Abbas is pursuing his agenda to delegitimize Israel and obtain unilateral recognition of Palestine by the United Nations.

France has announced plans to recognize Palestine as a state in September 2025 [12].  This is the two-state “solution” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict first proposed by the British Peel Commission in 1937, and prophesied in Scripture at Joel 4 [13].

Meanwhile, antisemitism has spiked around the world since the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas on Israel [14][15][16].  Antisemitism in France alone is up by 185%.  In Spain, it is up by 321%.  In the United States, antisemitism is up by at least 337% [18][19][20]. 

Clearly, forces are being marshaled against the Jews, who may soon feel unable to live safely anywhere on the globe.
