The Shoes of Haman

On October 16, 1946 a group of Nazi war criminals was hanged as a result of the Nuremburg trials [1].
Included in the group were Alfred Rosenberg, one of the primary authors of Nazi racial policy with its persecution of the Jews; Julius Streicher, publisher of the anti-Semitic newspaper Der Sturmer, an essential vehicle of Nazi propaganda; and Hans Frank, the governor of occupied Polish territories following the German invasion in WWII, and directly involved in the mass murder of Jews.
Hermann Goring, creator of the Gestapo secret police and Nazi concentration camp system, as well as an infamous “collector” of valuable artwork confiscated from Jews during the Holocaust; and Martin Bormann, the commandant of Auschwitz, had already committed suicide.
Individually and together these powerful political and military leaders had formulated and implemented the so called Final Solution, its goal the extermination of every Jewish man, woman, and child on earth.
With the help of God, that goal was not accomplished.
“Then King Ahasuerus [Xerxes] said to Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew, ‘Indeed, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows because he tried to lay his hand on the Jews’ ” (Esther 8: 7).
Twenty-five hundred years earlier, another fiend had sought to exterminate the Jews. Under the rule of Persian King Ahasuerus (better known to history as Xerxes), Haman arranged for an edict to be issued to this effect.
But through the intervention of Esther, Xerxes’ courageous queen (herself a woman of Jewish extraction), Haman’s treachery was exposed. He was hanged on the very gallows built for Esther’s uncle, Mordecai.
Those who today plot harm to the Jewish people should tread carefully. They stand in the shoes of Haman, and are assured the same fate.

A Lawyer's Prayers 
A very scary woman on twitter aggressively tried to convince me the Jews of the Old Testament are gone, murdered by present-day Jews who, she claims, are not Jews at all. This is something of a new anti-Semitic tactic. I basically told her to get lost but now I have something else to guard against.
Thank you for making me aware of this. Tragically, there is growing anti-Semitism out there.

Le Chambon. I rejoice when I read of resistance to evil.

A while back, even my little blog was visited/commented on/followed
by someone who seemed quite sweet… Yet what a shock when I saw
their entire blog filled with vile anti-Semitism!!! My first thought was
that it must be a sick joke… How could anyone possibly be so hateful?!?

I had the same experience listening to a ministry program that was new to me. It seemed Biblical at first, then veered off into anti-Semitism.
